If you’re an American Express cardholder, you are in for a sweet treat this holiday season. American Express and Uber have teamed up to offer Amex cardholders two free Uber rides (up to $65 each) originating from select airport in the US.
How It Works
- Enter promo code: AMEXAIRPORT
- New Uber App – Go to the “Payment” section; Click on “Add Promo/Gift Code” to enter the promo code.
- Old Uber app — Go to the “Promotions” section to add the promo code.
- Pay with Amex – Be sure your American Express card is added to your Uber account and selected as the payment method.
- Free ride – Two rides (up to $65 each) from these airports will be free. Additional amount over $65 will be charged to your American Express card.
Select Airports
To qualify for the promotion, rides must originate from the following airports.
- LaGuardia Airport (LGA)
- John F. Kennedy International Airport  (JFK)
- Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR)
- Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD)
- Chicago Midway International Airport (MDW)
- Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA)
- Boston Logan International Airport (BOS)

- Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD)
- Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA)
Promotion Period
The two free rides must be completed before 11:59 pm on December 31, 2016.
